My Pulmonary Doctor of 3 years has passed away in a tragic accident, @ 4:45PM this past Sunday.

He was riding double with a lady from Maryville, Tn.

His wife of over 30 years passed away about a year ago.

He was riding his Ultra Classic, that he had also ridden all the way to Sturgis 3 Years ago.

He was a good Doctor and more than that too his patiants.

He will be sorely missed by me and many families of this area.

Thanks Paul for your reply, was beginning to think no one noticed.

I have been in shock all day, this man used to treat my fellow workers with the dreaded

lung desease they have and I now have.

Beryllium Desease or Berylliosis.

He was very honest and straightforward with his patients.

Thanks

Al

Big Al, I hate to hear news like this.  Unfortunately this seems to be a common scenario where a rider fails to navigate a curve and goes off the road.

Do you know if he was an experienced rider?

I have not really heard about the particulars of the accident Jim.

But I know for a fact he went all the way to Sturgis as he told me, with his late wife on the back.

She was ill at the time, and I am sure they were getting a bucket list done.

He told me he rode the HWY116 Devils Triangle and that is a pretty rough peice of navigation.

So I would say yes, experienced and savvy.

We may never know what caused the wreck, what we do know is we lost a good man.

No further news of the lady on the back that was with him at the time of the wreck.

Big Al...
This is Gunslinger,
I know this is incredibly inappropriate, but...

I never would have guessed that you were going to out live your Dr.

Sorry for you, Him and the Family, not in that order.

Thats so hard.
With the coming debacle in the medical field we will be short of Doctors period.
Much less good ones.
Mine says He's gone the second day of bammycare.
Sorry for everyone's loss on that one.

Sounds like he was a good man, married 30 years, cared about his patients, and loved life on the road. Just concider your self lucky to have known such a man. Your loss is Heavens gain.

Santa you said a Mouthful.

Thanks

He was a good one to say the least.

The HR Director told me today how Dr. Bruton had really taken care of her Dad when he needed him.

Throughout the workforce of over 5,000 folks at Y-12 the story comes back the same, he was a

 good

man.

Sorry to hear that, Al.

I've been very lucky to have the same pair of doctors throughout my 6 years with cancer.  Don't know what I would do if I lost one so I can definitely relate.

Very sad.
