Please excuse me if this has been asked before...

I run Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50 in a v-twin bike. Would that be a good oil for my Valk? My plan is to use one oil for both bikes. Thanks for opinions.

FWIW, my Valk has Spectro in it now.

I'm not sure if this is safe. My flack jacket is at the cleaners and oil threads can get serious  Cool
Al serousness aside, sure, why not. The big deal about MC oils is that they suppoedly don't contain friction modifiers, such as molybdenum disulfide, that may (in large enough doses) screw up your wet clutch.
Notice my use of words like supposedly and "large enough doses" Such qualifiers help to keep you on firm ground in oil threads
The only thing to be concerned about is the viscosity of the oil. 20-50 is a bit thick for winter use unless you don't have winters where you live or ride.
You can also do what I do, which is mix the heavy oil with a lighter oil to arrive hopefully at a "just right oil"
Many of us use Mobil-1 15-50 car oil, some mix it. You could mix in some 10-40 to lighten it for winter use.
My thoughts on mixing is to reduce the moly content (and cost) by dilution and arrive at the right viscosity in the bargain.
My humble opinion only, I'm not a petroleum engineer so I'm only applying what I hope is common sense to the subject. I haven't spun any bearings or had any other oil related problems.
It's your bike, use your discretion.

I've been using it for the last 2 and a half years and 14 thousand miles with no issues.  Started using it at 32 thousand miles when I bought the bike.  Previous owner used dino oil.

If your oil says "JASO MA" on the can, you're good to go. PS: I've run that in mine once due to a bargain I ran across. Used it for 10K miles before the next change.
