Was in Lubbock on 82nd St. between Slide and Quaker today.. apparently some cager decided not to look and pulled out in front of a gray motorcycle.  Bike looked like it hit the car around the front driver's side wheel.  Anyone in Lubbock have any knowledge on this?   Tried to look on the internet and not seeing anything about a wreck today.  That biker has been on my mind all day and I just hope they are ok.

Apparently a week or so ago someone else was killed on 82nd St..
Be careful in Lubbock if you are in the area.. apparently alot of bikers have been in wrecks there.
Guess folks aren't paying attention.

Please be careful out there!

Liz,
Apparently there have been ALOT of deaths not to mention wrecks in the Hub City.
At the Lone Star Rider website, there is a rally being planned for Nov 12 to try and raise bike awareness.

This doesn't address the specific accident, but does mention the problem.

Thanks for the links.  Passed that along on facebook.   Doubt we can make the ride but so glad they are doing it.
