I am looking at a headlight extension to bring my headlight out about even with the light bar.
Anybody know off the top of their head about how far I can extend things before I have to splice more wire in?

thanks

check with daryl at xf6-customs.  he can answer that question, and he also makes the bracket to do just what you want.

Here's a pic of one of Daryl's xf6-customs headlight extenders on my 2003 standard with a Wide Open Customs batwing fairing. I used it to move the headlight out to the edge of the opening of the fairing. The chrome spacers on the headlight bolts are from the local Ace hardware and are used with longer bolts to move the headlight housing down 1 ½ in. to clear the headlight opening. Hope this helps. Daryl is a good guy to work with by the way and makes a great product.
