Darn Brett Favre!!

I’m not a Viking fan, but I’ve been rooting for Brett when they play!!  Last week, I was actually hoping that the Vikings would beat the packers!!  Hope to hell he retires this year!!  Can’t stand cheering for “that” team!!

Alph how can someone who lives in the state of Wisconsin cheer for the Vikings?  I've been a life long Packers fan, once Farve put on that purple jersey he became the enemy, at least its no longer a tossup as to whether I dislike the Bears or Vikings more!!

it was because of brett favre that i started rooting for the packers!!  i use to be a die hard bears fan, since i'm from chicago.  but because of the way chicago started playing against the packers i started rooting for them.  then brett spent 5 hours pleading for his job back, to no avail, ends up at NY for a year, then goes to MN.  i'm just happy to still be able to watch him play ball!!  HE is the reason why i cheer for the packers over the bears.  and it makes me sick to cheer for the vikings!!  if the vikings had randy moss and brett last year, they would have won the super bowl.  (my opinion.)

after todays game, he might just give it up!!  took a heck of a beating!!

Guess I can understand a Bears fan rooting for the Vikings to beat the Packers   Strange how fickle many Chicago (other than Cubs) fans are. I remember the 80's when the Packers just plain stank and the Bears were doing great. I never even gave a thought to being a Bears fan, just suffered through some bad years. (and I worked in Illinois 27 years)
