Flatbustecd and Ron put on an outstanding event. Thankyou for all you did for all of us and for making us all feel so welcome at  your home.  It was great seeing old faces and meeting new faces.  We; TwoTone and I will certainly remember this event as we sit here in Tillmans Corner  Alabama waiting on a ride back home to the florida panhandle.  We nursed and plugged a rear tire leak just outside Hammond La.  Cant nurse it no more so it  is another night in a hotel. The leak is not a hole but more like a tear so I do not think the plug is actually working like it is supposed to.  Oh well as Daniel would say " Life is a Road" and this road trip has certainly been memorable. Thanks again for an outstanding Romp in Da Swomp event.

Man sorry to hear about your tire problems. We know how it is because we have bought tires in out of the way places. Good luck.

Hey Swoopie, I have a rear tire mounted on an interstate rim if it will get you out of a bind. It's used and you will have to switch your dampers over, but will work. If you can't find a tire first thing, let me know and I'll head over that way in the morning. I have to head to Houston tomorrow anyway so if you need it give me a call. Good Luck! Doug

Doug when will you be in Houston? Maybe we can get together. We didn't get to the Swamp as Denise was feeling bad and by the time she got better I was coming down with a bug. Spent Saturday close to the privey. Well deer season opens this saturday so I make that for sure.

Did you get the bike running OK for the trip? Been wondering about that since our phone conversation.

I am here now; just got in about 9 pm. I'm down on the south side in Pearland. I'll be here a couple of days, if you can make it one evening, give me a call. Thanks!

Hey NiteRider, thanks for the very kind offer which we would have taken you up on, but We lost Wifi connection at the hotel, seems the front desk likes to reset passwords without informing the guests so we had no way of knowing of your generous offer.
Anyway to all of those who responded, THANKS and we finally got back home last night after getting hauled back to Panama City Beach, then loading up the trailer and truck and headin on back west and  praying that the FUGLY BIKE is still there and upright so we can begin airing it  up and hoping it will hold air long enough to get it on the trailer and secured.  Well it was and it took air long enough to get it on the trailer.  Longetrs 900 miles in one day I have ever!!

Good to see you to RedValk! cooldude

I would have done it but he's almost 400 miles from my place in central Fla., just wasn't in the cards. Now....if I had been headed to the Romp, would have been a different story. I could have left early and stopped there. Glad he's up and running now. cooldude
