New OEM copper gaskets cleaned the ports and the ends of the header really good.  Use a little rtv on the gaskets and the headers. Tightened in sequence re tightened at least 2 times.  Don't have 1/4 in torque wrench but I know they're plenty tight over 7lbs.  I seen posts where it's said they just click no matter what.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Is it desmogged? Hows the valves?

Mine has ticked since day one even with it desmoged, valves done, and new gaskets.
