I am really pleased with my healing process.  Just to sit around and talk you would never know I was in an accident.  When I am sitting it's hard for me to tell I had any broken ribs.  I can't stand very long or walk very far without some discomfort.  I also can't lift too much weight comfortably.  I am sleeping very comfortably as long as it is on an air mattress.  I tried to sleep in my bed without the air mattress a few nights ago and only made it about 3 hours and had to go get in the recliner.

Last week I bought a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT with a Hemi in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I flew down there from Kansas City.  It only had 26,000 miles on it so thought it was worth the trip to get it and drive it home.  I was able to handle my luggage OK and had to bring my air mattress and pump, but have been managing very well.  Have made a couple of 600 mile days while on the trip.

I went down to Key West and through the Everglades National Park and then went up to Raleigh, NC to visit a buddy there. Yesterday I drove from Raleigh, NC to White House, Tn and met up with Smokin Joe for dinner and a great BS session. Today I made it to Columbia, Mo.  I have been having a great time.  So far the Magnum has been putting a smile on my face just like the Valkyrie did.

I have been very comfortable in the car rather than the bike as I have seen over a hundred dead deer carcasses on the trip and thinking about how I would have reacted if I had been back on the bike.

I am posting some pictures of the Magnum below.

Thanks again for all the concern, prayers, cards, and friendships from all of you.

Clint

That is what I wanted, 'specailly the HEMI! But the wife didn't want a station wagon.  Been a lot of times I could have used the extra space.
