Wow, I hate to hear this. I was a huge Reds fan since I was a youngster and certainly enjoyed the years that Sparky coached the "Big Red Machine".  I hated to see Sparky leave Cincinnati, and I watched my last game as a Reds fan the day Marge Schott fired Tony Perez.

I had a fleeting grin at the thought that maybe Sparky could finally bitch slap Marge without fear of legal retribution...but alas...I doubt that they are sharing the same zipcode.
