I want to thank Valkpilot, BnB Tom, Disco, & 5_19 for coming over from DFW & Dublin. Smiley I know it was a cold ride this morning. There were 7 of us here. John from Tyler and Jimnvalk from Van. (home of the Vandals Smiley)
All I know is that you guys sure can eat a lot. I don't know how we got anything done after lunch. 2funny Good thing TJ brought some Dublins to keep us awake. I really enjoyed the fellowship and hope to do it again. John, I didn't realize till you left that we didn't get your exhaust tips put on. I'll get in touch with you in the next week or so and you can come over. It won't take but a few minutes to do them. Thanks everyone for a great time and come by anytime. Matt

Great time.  I am so glad everyone came and thanks for all the help.  John sorry about you not getting your tips put on.  I guess I kinda monopolized the work time.  Was able to change my rear end oil, clutch fluid, brake fluid, carb sinc, and remove overspray from previous owner.  It looks and drives like a new bike.  Thanks to all again.
Thanks Matt for opening your home and shop to us.

Just got back to Dublin at 7pm. Thanks Matt for putting up with us. You went all out with the BBQ. That was great, ....... and y'all should see this man's cave and his tools, woooooow. cooldude

Round trip 491 miles for me. Dropped of some Dublin Dr pepper, eat 2 plates of BBQ with dessert, cleaned blinker switch (basically changed blinker fluid), sinced some carbs, changed brake fluid, spend the day with great people and saw the leaves really starting to change to fall colors. I feel truly blessed. TJ  cooldude cooldude

You went all out, Matt, and it was great.  Good times with good people.

Words can't describe my envy of your shop setup.

Thanks again.

  FUNTASTIC !

A great get together with some fine people in a beautiful surrounding on a perfect day.

Some really good food too!  Oh. And Yes! Valkers can put away some BBQ!   Wink

And Matt (aka: Hoghead - the host), has a shop that a lot of dealer's would be envious of!

Everything in its place and a place for everything.  (Valkpilot  was constantly wiping the drool off his chin as he looked around.) Grin

Matt isn't someone who has accumulated a lot of tools and equipment just for the sake of having it - he actually has the knowledge, experience and ability to use everything in his shop to the best of their intended purpose! ! !

Thanks again Matt, for everything!  cooldude

Bahahaha Tom, They are occasionally used for unintended purposes. I have discovered that immediately following a busted knuckle tickedoff that a 19mm wrench will bounce over 3 feet off the concrete if dropped at the right speed.  2funny

I didn't even get to sleep last night. I went to work at 1:45 this morning and 15 mins later it was 1 am. so I was 45 mins early. Instead of getting an extra hr of sleep I got to work an extra hr.  laugh

Thanks, Hoghead.  That, indisputably, was the best E Texas wrench party I've every been to!

What a day!  Cold early, but clear, and it only got better as it went along.  300 or so miles + fun with friends and F6s.  What about the trees, curves, and hospitality of East Texas is not to like and look forward to?  When are we going to do it again?

Nice setting, huh...

Come closer...

a little closer...

It just keeps getting better...

Let's see, two guys working, three guys watching, one has wandered off, and one is taking pictures.

Can you say, "Lift Envy"?
