If you think of blowing off the sidewalks and porches or blowing the leaves into a pile? You need an attitude adjustment, you do not have life's needs properly sequenced.
Your first thought should be " Ah ha, a Valkyrie blow dryer".
Any other thoughts are unacceptable, profane, not appropriate for a VRCC member.
Wash it, blow dry it and lets go for a ride.

Yup, been using mine that way for years, works great and it's cheaper than the commercially made bike dryers. A caution however, if you have one that also works as a vacuum to suck up leaves, etc., make certain it's totally cleared out before using it as a blow dryer. A twig piece coming out at 150mph will flat mess up some paint.

I have used blowers for years, cuts down dry time by a LOT. I always used a gas blower until I saw a Sears Ad for a elect. one for $29.00, 150 MPH. Best $29 I`ve spent in a long time. I can have Valk. dryed before I can get the ^&(%$)*# gas one going.

. . ....we have a lot of nice (Big) ol trees in our yard...which are great in the summer..but create A LOT of leaves in the fall...matter of fact Im finally finishing up the last of them today....Ive been using a leaf blower and rake for years....Ive seen many around here and else where agree with your ulterrior use for this lawn tool....personally I have a big old stack of "bike towels" that I use....when I wash my State I do it in "sections"....fairing first....front fender and forks....handle bars and mirrors...gas tank...engine...rear touring bag...side bags....rear fender....after finishing each of these I reach for a towel to dry that part off...personally I couldnt imagine sticking my hands in a bucket of water...splashing water all over ...dripping on the ground ....then repeatedly reaching for a ....plugged in power tool.....sounds a little like Russian Roulette to me....and I dont play that either....but thats just me..

Hey Guy. Have you heard of "GROUNDED" You do dry your hands before you stick them in the plug. BTW, by the time I `ve washed the Valk. most water has drained off.

I do the same thing with the squirrels in our area. I sometimes catch them running across the screened in area around our pool and if I can hit the hi-speed switch fast enough, I can blow them clear into the 7th fareway behind the house. Really gets them PO'd, or if I happen to have the hose on with the high pressure nozzle....same thing. Soon as they hear the water come on they kick in the afterburner but.....woosh....too late Rocky. As an afterthought, we also have a bird feeder outside the kitchen window and the furry little buggers love birdseed. They climb right up the metal pole and hang between it and the feeder. So, just for laughs some days I'll get out my can of blue grease and give the post a good covering. Then sit back and watch them try running up the post all the while slowly sliding down. After 3-4 of them try it, they start to fight amongst themselves. I just love nature.

This squirrel-thwarting bird feeder is as boring as watching paint dry - because it works... A weighted mechanism causes the feeder to close if something beyond the adjustable weight threshold gets on it. The similar ones that have a spring-loaded mechanism - bah! http://www.leevalley.com/us/garden/page.aspx?p=48756&cat=2,10719,33068&ap=1LL Bean used to sell them about 30 years ago - my mom got one. About 10 years ago I realized that Lee Valley Tools sells them now, and I got one. Both mine and my mom's are outside my window right now, and both still work great! -Mike "on the semi-irregular occasion that I was my Valkyrie I use Joe's Juice "

In keeping with the thought, perhaps the lawn blower should be GAS powered for proper reverence (to the Valk).
Also would not want any one to get zapped.

In the summer the water dries before you can get the rag. Then its just a matter of the circles. I hose off after work and am dry before I get home. 30 miles later. I have a dirt road to deal with so washinh at home is a waste-o-time. The Valkwash that cars use too, is right off the freeway so I'm doin 80 toot sweet. Really SWEET.
