Lcdr Leo Claude Hester died flying a cargo plane and his son WO Leo Claude Hester Jr. went over to avenge his fathers death.  They got him too.  My aunt passed on last year, she was never the same again.

RJ... 1st.. Thank you for your service.  And Happy Birthday to the Marines!!!!!!
2nd.... Anyone that has a problem honoring our veterans..... and tries to give ANYONE a hard time for doing so..... well... they don't even count in my book.
So ..... maybe I need a newly fabricated hole.....but they best girth up..... won't be a ride they like.
I know there was a problem with my eyes as I read through the list of young men I knew that gave ALL.

My cousin (Peanut) Carson Milo King is on that wall. He was a marine killed after only three months in country the day after his 19th birthday.  I know he had a feeling he wasn't coming back as he gave away most of his stuff before he left. We rode arround for a whole day in his 55 2door Belair  a week before he sold it and left for boot camp.
Mine new grandson Carson Wayne Dietert  6 wks old tomorrow carrys his first name with honor .

Fred W. Magnusson

In-country nine days and got caught in a mortar attack at the base in Thua Thien province. Took a mortar round directly on his head.

Semper Fi, Freddie, my Pard.

Times like this, you really notice the lack of an American and Canadian flag emoticon...
