I suppose you have better credentials?  Like half a lackey?  Why aren't you there, then?

So easy to criticize... so much harder to offer an alternative... which is starkly missing in your denigrating post.

I have the same credentials....... a law degree and criminal trial experience.  What I lack is a leaking brain full of political correctness and the ability to kiss a socialist president's ass.

You think the Zero administration desires a right wing, hawkish prosecutor who is hard on all crime, is a big fan of the death penalty, who would never advise the president to give terrorists Miranda warnings and let them lawyer up, who would advise that all terrorists be tried solely by military tribunals (no civilian courts), who would advise that water boarding is not torture and perfectly acceptable in a war zone to save American lives, who would advise that military interrogation techniques are highly classified national security matters that the US public has no right to ever hear about, who would advise that leakers of such classified information face courts martial and long stretches in Leavenworth, who would advise GITMO remain in business forever, who would advise that we laud Arizona and all other states who want to assist the Fed with illegal immigration enforcement (under a uniform set of policies), who would have advised against the appointment of both Sotomayor and Kagan as Supreme Court nominees as attorney general?

My post was denigrating, because Eric Holder deserves denigration.

I happened to have spent some 26 years in US Govt service... how about you?

Eric Holder's involvement in the Marc Rich pardon is a disgrace that should have prevented a President who boasted about "change you can believe in" from appointing him as A.G. That and Timothy (I didn't pay my taxes) Geithner's selection as Sec. Treasury convinced me early on it was going to be business as usual with the current administration. I was sincerely disappointed.
