It is good to see Americans doing a demonstration instead of people that hate us. It would be nice if more people stood up and carried the message that we are not going to take it anymore.

Political Correctness is going to kill a lot of us. With peace he will destroy many. You may have heard that before. Don't give in, Don't give up and carry on the Flag untill you drop. Then someone else pick it up and so on. Down here in Dixie we love ole Glory as much as Grits and Corn Bread. Never let that Flag Hit the Ground.

This is a story of an American public that not only pays attention to the wrong things but time and time again proves all too willing to fall for half-truths and distortion.
Why did the term "President Obama" pop into my head when I read that?

While his journalistic style is somewhat brash and condescending, he pretty much has a handle on the situation. Where is the video you referred to?

Actually, no. I've never listened to Beck unless it's something posted here. I used to listen to Rush while driving to work because my FM quit working and all I had was AM. Then I noticed that even when I agreed with him he made me mad. So I left the radio off. )

If you research the subject deeper than what is reported by the reactionary journalists, you would have a more complete understanding. The two “opinion personalities” I mention are included in that group of journalists.

I beleave in our freedoms set in the constitution, and I will fight whoever trys to take those freedoms away from me or any citizen of this great country. And to those who do not beleave in those right and our freedoms then don't let the door hit you in the azz on the way out.

If you research this subject, you will find that no one is denying this student his constitutional rights. This started when a group of thugs caused trouble over the display of a Mexican flag during Cinco de Mayo. Wanting to avoid more problems, the superintendant of this school asked the student to not display the American flag after he discovered threats against the student. The superintendant has the authority under US law to make this request. This story became a cause for the neo-patriots after it was used as propaganda by the conservative media by not reporting the full story.

I don't let the media from the left or the right influece my beleave's. But it sure sounds like you do. It also sounds like your one of those who are not a patriot. So I repeat what I said before "don't let the door hit you in the azz on the way out"

I would suggest you are not in a position to judge someone’s patriotism. If not for the news media, where did you learn of this incident? Did you actually try to get all of the information, or just go with a knee-jerk reaction? Typically, misguided, self-appointed and self-important guardians of patriotism cause more problems that they solve.

I wonder Bobbo?
If you were alive in the 1770's and if Paul Revere were to have ridden by your house yelling the redcoats are coming, or whatever he really said or one of the riders for that matter at lexington or concord or a hundred other places
would you have gotten out of bed and got your guns and gone to battle, assuming for sake of the question you had a hunting rifle or musket or pistol and assuming you believed in the cause (many did not) or would you have waited until you researched the matter thoroughly on the internet
we all have sources we consider with varying degrees of accuracy sometimes they are right and sometimes not so right I for one am proud of all of who went with that young man with their flags to make sure our flag could fly and the boy could exercise his right to show our flag dont consider them faux anything but real patriots, the kind who get out of bed and defend all of us
but thats just me, I dont listen to beck or rush at least intentionally and to me that principal is someone I would not shake hands with (dangling proposition?)

The superintendant has the authority under US law to make this request. This story became a cause for the neo-patriots after it was used as propaganda by the conservative media by not reporting the full story. Just one more Lawsuit coming to Wake up the Failed American education system...Hey Mr know it all How about that FREE SPEECH you always Preach ? Here...One of your Buddies to Refresh your Troll memory >>The Flag issue will be next..>>Student Cross A middle school student from Colorado can now wear his cross to school without fear of punishment. The school district has agreed to permit our client, Cainan Gostnell, to wear his cross on a small chain around his neck outside his shirt. This was a quick resolution - one that protected the constitutional rights of free speech and religious expression for our client, a 7th grade student at Mann Middle School in Colorado Springs. We told you about this case 10 days ago when we sent the school a demand letter on behalf of our client who became fearful when he heard an announcement over the school's public address system that all students wearing religious jewelry would either have to conceal it or remove it because some people in school are "offended" by the display. Cainan stopped wearing the cross to school because he feared being punished by the school. In our demand letter to the school, we asserted that Cainan wears the cross to convey his faith in God and to identify himself as a Christian. The attorney from the school district responded with a letter to our legal team handling this case. The school attorney said "Cainan may continue to wear and display his cross at school. . . ." This represents an important First Amendment victory for our client and one that underscores the fact that the constitutional rights of students do not end at the school house door. We will continue to monitor the school's actions to ensure Cainan's rights remain protected. This win comes on the heels of another school case that ended up in federal court in New York. In that case, our client was prohibited from wearing a rosary for religious reasons on the outside of his clothing to school Our federal lawsuit on his behalf followed by the court's decision to grant a temporary restraining order on our behalf, resulted in the school district changing its policy of preventing the wearing of rosaries to school. BTW STUFF IT !!! Constitution Hater!!
