I had no idea there was so much to remove on a bmw 1150rtp to change the battery
12 bolts using a torx set some of them hidden behind and under stuff and take off left mirror and then realized the crash bars needed to come off so off to autozone to get a matrix hex set but all is well and I only have one or two extra parts which dont seem to be needed yet one is a bolt that ju st wont turn maybe a grommet behind it fell out which could be the other extra part
will be taking the old battery and the one from the aux spot to be tested to see if I can still use one as the aux
It took me three hours all together including the trip to autozone yes I made sure the bike started before I put the bars back on.
no beers were sacrificed during the process, a situation which is presently being addressed
