Their truck broke down a month ago. Alternator was bad. They dont have a lot of money, except for cigs. Just not good life/priority choices with their money. But thats another story. So the other day I said i'll get their alternator fixed for them so they can have a vehicle esp with winter coming on. Took it in today and was done in a few hours. My alt guy said he is surprised the alt works since it had all the wrong parts in it. It was a Duralast alt from Auto Zone. so the guy put all the right parts in for me. New stator, high end diodes, and brushes. Got it done for less then a new one. He even called to price another one in case! Took it over there and she about cried with excitement. Chaulk another one up for the son in law!

I've helped the inlaws a few times. They still don't like me. Oh well. My wife is lucky because she has the best in laws.

Yeah, you're gonna be the goto guy now... but so what. That's your job for violating their daughter. Jabba

My brother-in-law and I share the responsibilities of helping out the in-laws. We have the best set of in-laws anyone could ask for. The first time I met my future in-laws my future mother-in law stated how she didn't like motorcycles or the guys that drove them! Well the next day and the next date, I pulled right up to the porch with my 550-4 Honda! I gave her the "one for me" sign and it's been one back at me and one back at her for over 30 years!!! They are both the greatest people a guy could ask for as in-laws. My father-in -law past away a couple of years ago and is missed greatly. He was Quiet Giant type of a guy. Anyway I'd like to wish everyone on the site a Happy Thanksgiving from Larry And Colleen Gill in East China mi. , Members of the Rogue Riders Chapter of the Michigan Valkyrie Road Riders Club. P.S. My wife has 1500 miles on her '05 Honda Shadow Areo that she learned to ride this past summer. THAT got a rise out of my mom-in-law!!!

My Son-in-law is from East China Michigan... He is a good egg, he knows how to treat my daughter. In my book he is a great husband, great father, and a great person. Well he is not the only one in my book... my oldest daughters husband is equally great. And also my youngest daughter who is getting married in September to a nice young man that adores her.
