One of my German ShortHaired Pointers ate gorilla glue. She's been to the vet and had surgery on her stomach to remove the mass of glue. She's 50/50 to make it right now.

Send Bailey some good vibes. She's a great dog and really needs some good vibes sent her way.

Thanks in advance!

Bailey sure is a looker.

I have 3 Dogs, none as handsome as yours, but love them all.

I sure hope Bailey makes it, she just made a mistake.

Something about glue and stuffing from stuffed toys as well, dogs will eat about anything.

Course I guess it beats licking ones hind end.

Good vibes for Bailey sent your way dude.

I sure enjoyed meeting you at Bardstown as well Jabba.

Just thought I would throw that in.

Doc said tonight that everything looked great, except for her intestine.  They had to resect it after cutting 1" out of it.  She said that looked bad.  It really all comes down to if that section of intestine comes around over night tonight or not.

She said we'd know by noon or so tomorrow what the prognosis is.

They say that whenever you have a dog, they take a piece of your heart, and give you ALL of theirs in return.  Man makes out on that deal EVERY time.

I thank everyone for the support.  I sure hope she's OK.  She's a young dog still at only 4.

doc called this am.  SHe's still not out of the woods.  She says she LOOKS good.  And got up and walked outside to pee, but her labs are a little iffy.  she adjusted her fluids and medicine, and we'll continue to wait and see.

Thanks ya'll.  My wife and I really do appreciate the happy thoughts.

The vet just called and said while she's still not out of the woods, her labs have gotten better, it looks as though her kidneys are starting to work again, and she actually trotted outside to pee.

Still a long way to go, but at least there is a little good news now.

It seems as though her resected intestine is holding, and her renal failure seems to have been temporary.

I sure hope tomorrow brings yet some more improvement.

Thanks for the ear guys.  I will keep everyone in the loop.
