Been busy building tables.  Tables for what you might ask...well, I got a call from the Producer of a Japanese TV Network  (Nippon TV)

They are planning to duplicate this stunt (see youtube)
Mythbusters Tablecloth Chaos Part 4powered by Aeva

Only they plan on using a Jet Bike.  They needed 7 tables some 5m long and some 1m long for a total of 15m worth of table that they can set up for a jet bike to yank the table cloth.

Im not making a ton on it but Ill do ok, the best part is being able to see this thing first hand.  If it goes off I will post pics on Wed.

I deliver the tables on Sunday and they will set everything up between then and the 1st.

Should be a "BLAST" no matter what happenes

Oh, and thanks again brother for the info on the fuel valve I installed.  I would not have thought about the hose clamp and would have thought the dang thing wouldn't work and sent it back. Thanks again bro!  cooldude cooldude cooldude

Turns out the Maya I was talking to was a different Maya....still good looking but not a swimsuit model.  I took her for a run down the 1/8 mile strip..........got to 90mph or so it was a blast.......those are all my tables in the background.  They did a couple test runs with a pro stock race bike and had good results so Wed we get the jet Bike, jet car and the real deal.

Today was a blast and all worked out well.........in case youre wondering Judy is the one taking the pictures of us on the bike, so even I get to live after this one!!!

Imagine that!  Two Japanese girls named Maya and both on television.   2funny  Who'd've thought?  Grin

Congrats on the table order, Jeff.  Will we get to see the stunt on this side of the big lake?

Ok, turns out there was no rocket bike...it was a rocket car.  Holy cow this thing had the engine from an f-5 and it passed 100mph in the first second.  they hooked that bad boy up to our table and all you heraed was a "pop" and not only was the table cloth gone (all 10m of it) It was so far down the track you couldnt barely even see it.

All in all it was a great time, my tables worked perfectly and no one had to die.

Vehicles used altogether:

by hand
10 speed bike
pro sport motorcycle
electric dragster
rocket car

The best run by the rocket car nothing fell off the table, nothing hardly moved except one apple that fell out of its dish

take a look

exactly  cooldude They paid me (just a little) for the tables, then I volunteered the 16hr day yesterday to tie all their rope ends to the various vehicles and keep the tables flat.  I was just one of the crew for a day
