My Hopnel 3 pocket belt on the WS is pretty old, and is starting to sag pretty good.  It's hard to see the Speedo.  I like the weathered look, or I'd buy something new.

I need to stiffen it up some though, so I can see the speedo.  I'm sure I could "Rube Goldberg" something together that would work, but was wondering if anyone has "been there, done that" and can share what they've done.

Thanks

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Mine did the same thing. I was gonna take the plastic off and use some lexan in its place. Couldn't figure how to do the pouches without making it look bad. I ended up buying the HD 3 pouch set up for $95. Fits the contour of the oem shield excellant with minor adjustment. Far better quality pouches and can haul more since its metal backed.

LOL, between 1 inch risers I was installing anyway, and a small black binder clip, problem solved.  The Tach is only blocked near the red line, so if the needle disappears behind the pouch, I know I'm at the edge  Evil

The speedo was blocked 0-50 mph.  A binder clip on the right side, under the flap fixed that.  I unhooked the lever from the clip, and you can't even see it, it's black.

I used linseed oil on a pair of leather chaps once. Made them so stiff they could stand up on their own. Just a thought.
