Rip Leslie.  You gave me so many laughs.   You will be missed.

"Surely, you must be joking!"

RIP.  He was always a straight drama actor until he made "Airplane."

"I'm not joking... and stop calling me Shirley."

My neighbor is a nurse at the local hospital and a male nurse who worked there also did some home care for him. He brought him in a couple of times, for minor things and to say hi to everyone. She said he was a great guy. I'm 50 and I still quote lines from Airplane. He will be missed.  Cry

R.I.P.    Leslie!    I can remember many years ago watching the whole Naked Gun series... that first Naked Gun movie was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen...   one of the few movies I've ever watched  where I laughed so hard I rolled off the couch and on to the floor gasping for air.

I haven't seen too much that funny since those movies.....

Leslie was funny  and made it look easy.

I remember the early movies, they were great! He actually played the bad guy very well. Going comedic was the best thing he did for us!
