What a pleasant way to spend a few years.....

20 years ago, I was playing blackjack in Las Vegas.  A young guy at the table was from Germany.  He had shipped his BMW bike over here, and was taking as much of a tour as he could in something like 4 months.  Sure sounded like fun.

Google Emilio Scotto  (sp). He rode around the world several times in 10 years on a 1980 Goldwing 1100 I believe. I met him in Knoxville and had a great time listening to his stories concerning getting in and out of countries around the world. Lots of good winter reading, however I live in florida so I am too busy riding to finish it all.
