Fuel tank breather tube

While replacing the alternator on my Valk, I managed to pull the "fuel tank breather tube" (the rubber tube that terminates after passing through a metal eyelet on the side stand) from where ever it attaches. I'm guessing it might attach to the "T" in the reserve tank over flow tube. I'm I correct? If not, where the heck does it go?

Yep. There should remain one opening on the "T". That acts as a vacuum break.
