Has the Leatherlike bags gotten any better.
 In holding up to riding.
I have a old pair on the bike and they are shot.
I like the looks, but don't need them braking
up.

The more recent LeatherLyke bags are a somewhat improved design and not quite so likely to crack, but you still might consider MarkT's reinforcement mod.

Hey Lilabner, I ordered the Tsukayu strong hardbags last week so I don't need the Leatherlyke bags I have. Give me a pm If you would be interested in them.

Mine are fine.  I think they must be a new style era.  I like them.  I think there are plenty of options tho.  I am using the leatherlyke brand in place of a set of the leather Valkyrie bags.  My leather ones are like new and I want to keep them that way.  I have seen so many of the leather ones deformed from weather.  I am modifying the leather bag brackets to use with the leatherlyke mounting posts so I can exchange them as I wish.
