No, sorry. I wish I would have seen those before I purchased my 440's. They sure look a lot better! I'm curious how their rated? Do they stack up to the 440? Are they the same heavy duty shock tricked out in chrome?

I guess no one has the 430's. I was really hoping to hear some feedback. I love the look. Im probably going to give them a shot soon. Im looking to give my bike a low lean muscle look. Debating on wether to go with 11.5 or 12 inch versions. Im about 180lbs and mostly ride solo. I did a lot of searches in the archives with 11.5 Progressives and most seemed to be happy with them. Like to hear about some 11.5 inch 440s as they are probably more comparable with the 430's.

They certainly are the best looking shock available. I went with progressive 440 (12.5") and wish I would have gone with the 11.5". Something to consider, what seat do you have? I have the Ultimate, which raises your seat hight, over the stock seat. I also have floorboards with heal-toe shifter, which stretches your legs out on the Valk, because of the positioning. I'm 6' 220lbs. I can still be flatfooted when stopped, I think it would be a little more comfortable with a little more knee bend (which my modifications from stock removed) Then again if I went lower, I would be prone to "dragging" my floorboards in corners. Maybe others that have what your looking for will chime in. I hope this can help with your decision.

I have the stock '03 seat which is pretty high. I will be changing that also down the road. I also have the kickshifter. The other choice is whether or not to go with the HD version when going with the shorter shock. Though for my particular setup, technically would not be needed.

For those of you looking for an 11.5 440 I have a set on my VTX that fit the Valk. that I may be parting with in a month or so.
I was planning on selling the VTX to help pay for the Valk but my wife rode it a few times and likes the ride better than her Aero, but then she had a slight $3500 mishap in the front yard so I am going to pick it up from the repair shop now. so I may be keeping it if she likes it and sell the Aero down the road.
The 440 have the black spring, a couple of small nicks on the chrome but nothing major. I am wanting a set of 12.5 or 13 inch 440's. I do love the look of the Valk with the 11.5 but my seat is rather hard and did not like the ride.
