I've got a can I'm pretty sure it's NAPA brand....It look's better than rust but not alot better  Smiley  I bought a can to repair a few rust spots on my pick-up rear bumper where I'd hit the tounge of my boat trailer when hooking up...As stated it looks better than rust  cooldude  Jay Leno has lots more money than me so this stuff may work  Undecided

There have been similar systems not too long ago.
A local tractor restorer had a 51 GMC pickup bumpers, emblems and some other stuff done by a local shop. The stuff looked great but the color did not match  actual chromed pieces if you put them side by side.
From what the video shows, this may be a better process. Sure looks easy enough to do.
Sidecovers anyone?

I have used Chrome paint in a professional capacity,it works best if painted over a black base coat, try to achieve a "dark chrome" look, paint it on very lightly,if you lay it on heavy it just looks like a light silver,as for the clear coat, well that can be fun too,i could not find a two pack clear that would work with the "chrome paint" so i had to use a single pack ,the two pack tended to knock it all flat and it looked too grey afterwards.

I managed some good effects especially on wheels, but it was a pita to do

I have tried a product like this called Mirrachrome. I was difficult to do and with not great results. It looked pretty good until you placed it beside real chrome. I have had almost the same results using from a spray can. I have experimented with chrome paint and silver paint and silver paint with an automotive clearcoat looks pretty nice.
