The song was "Hey, Hey, My, My, Rock n' Roll Will Never Die."

Trying to find the female artist that was singing it, rather slow and haunting version....kinda liked it. Anybody know who it might be?

It was a good song, and the best episode they put on all season.

Those lyrics are most definitely by Neil Young.  A quick search of youtube found this.....

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

You're right....the more I listened to it I recognized the vocal talent. The tail end of the program was interrupted for me and I only caught the last couple phrases...sounded female. Now that I hear the whole thing.....DUH!!   Wink

Yes, would be an ugly woman. But....I've also seen some pretty sad examples in my years.
