Thanks Ray, was hoping to see this post soon!  Already had it marked on my calender! Smiley

Have you ever seen such a dirty bike? Shocked

You'd think Disco would have washed that bike before heading down to Dripping Springs! laugh

Here's some more pics from last year...

Thanks for the heads-up, Ray!

I may have a conflict 18-20 Feb, but if I free up, I'll be there.  That was a great time!

After numerous washings since last Feb, and several thousand miles in the rain last summer, I'm sure there are still hidden areas just coated with Lime Creek Road silt.   Sad

Oh, and if you think mine was dirty, you should have seen TJ's that weekend.  I almost didn't recognize him as we passed each other and waved in Tolar!  Shocked

It wasn't dirty, it was just a uniform gray paint job!

Amazing how dirty we all got - in just a few hundred feet - on Lime Creek Road! Wink

Wizard plans to be there.  Unfortunately an annual conference is that weekend this year.  I stand a good chance of seeing you folks at other times this  year, but won't have another chance to hear these folks speak, so I'm going to the conference.  Have fun without me!

I remember that weekend. Cleaned on it for 6 months it seemed. Every time I pulled a cover there was more. Disco was the only bike I saw after leaving Forth Worth that day. At the time I didn't recognize that grey Valkyrie, it wasn't untill I looked in my mirrow's and saw some yellowish tint's  Grin Grin Grin  cooldude Anybody can your read my license #?

If memory serves me correctly (and it doesn't very often OR very well),
that was the road that led to the demise of Disco's U-joints. . .

which resulted in this infamous picture  laugh  -->

I went on the "Long John Ride" which is held annually in Fort Worth. It was about a 75 mile ride and one of the paved roads had oil field construction along the road for about 10 miles. If I remember right it was one of those misty just above freezing mornings and all the mud had thawed to a nice slush and once we got there and you realized whats happening is already too late to turn back Evil Shocked That's all I got to say about that!

Actually BnB, it was at the Gatherin' of the Fools when Disco's U-Joint gave way....

He did however, find more Lime Creek Road silt from the Mid-Winter Gathering under his saddle bags even though it was six weeks later!

Small oversight was the cost of the Wild Game Dinner.

Advance tickets: $20      Children: $5

At the door tickets:  $25    Children:  $5

If you confirm with me, I will have your tickets marked and arranged for as Advance.  Or, you can purchase your own through their web-site starting sometime this coming week.
