I wish punks would get that sort of treatment more often. Maybe next time he'll think twice about harassing someone.

I long for the days of yore... when you could deliver a beat down on someone, and not really worry too much about getting shot or mobbed. The worst thing you could get was your own ass kicked. I ain't never got me ass kicked. Yet. I have thus far, chosen my fist fights wisely. I get get my ass knocked out in the boxing ring once though. Jabba

Surprisingly that cigarette he stuck in his mouth just seconds prior to the conflict, didn't work like spinach did for Popeye.

When I was much younger, I had a terrible temper, a high tolerance for pain, and a short fuse... bad combination. I was never afraid of anybody or anything which I now realize was complete stupidity. When I did fight, I found anytime a guy wasted time mouthing instead of taking action, he was usually a bully who was trying to bluff his way through. Last time I fought was about 10 years ago. Saw a guy in a parking lot drag his wife/girlfriend/whateverever out of the car by her hair and punched her in the mouth with his fist. Blood went everywhere. He started to hit her again and I grabbed his arm. He spun around and landed one on my jaw that rattled me pretty good. I found out two things at that time: 1) my quick reflexes and high tolerance for pain were GONE and 2) I'm too old for this kind of thing (LOL). I did manage to knock him down and then hold him until he cooled off. The police arrived, asked me some questions and then I left. I did worry that he might go get a gun and come looking for me.

I was going into the VFW one night and a geezer (HERO) was coming out leaning on his walker. The punk hiding in the shadows came out and my friend and I quickened our pace to intercept. Just a little too slow. The punk got folded up like a suitcase and Grandpa wasnt even outta breath. Turns out Grandpa was a "Detatchment 101" Burma veteran. Col. Donovan's school of mayhem graduate. He had great stories. We gave him a ride home and had a friend. Advise to punks; pick on punks. Old guys dont have time to screw with you and might just kill you outright to save time. We're busy and have places to be.

It IS a great video, but Epic Beard Man has a bit of a history, and the young punk was 50... (Granted, still 17 years younger than Epic Beard Man) Here's the Know Your Meme about this one:

It certainly appears that EBM was NOT a would be victim....and more likely than not, a prime example of an Epic A**HOLE!

That shows that there are two sides to every story.
If he did start the issue with the spit shine his shoes comment like it says, that would stand to reason why the video recorder started to run, and the fight ultimately happened.
I agree with JimL, if that is the case, he is an Ahole, not he hero everyone first thought.

This all took place just a bit north of me in San Francisco. The Punk needed his ARSE stomped he started the problem (this time) and then kept on EBM until he snapped. Although EBM (Epic Beard Man) has a known history of mental illness and was off his meds, this is not the first time he was involved with some sort of altercation.
