You want more light in back, go to either Radiantz or Custom Dynamics for these LEDs. I also picked up clear lenses for the tail and turn lights, and you can see how effective they are. I just installed the LED insert for the tail light, and round dual brightness LED's in the turns. At first, riders following me thought my brakes were on all the time, these two pics are a good indication but don't do them justice, there is a much more intense brilliance change between the two than the pictures show. The first pic shows them as running lights, the second as brake lights. Just noticed the lenses look amber or yellow...they aren't, they're clear. Must be from the red LED's and the clear lens along with a night time shot.

My IS came with the flashing hyperlites installed on it. Though I never see my bike from behind, they seem to be very bright and I would certainly install them on any other bike I buy. I like how small and easily-hidden they are, too.

I have the 8-LED non-flashing brake light kit an inline 6 or *-LED across the top of the lic. plate. Commuted for 2 years on HWY 400 in atlanta during rush hour with them. I felt they were very effective. Wire sneak out below the tail light assembly and hide nicely behind the plate.
However, like mentioned above, it's hard to tell from the drivers seat.
Maybe someone who regularly rides with someone that has them installed would have a better opinion, at least as far as brightness goes.

You want some light on the rear and no change anything except the guts of the taillight? Go to this link and buy the 128 LED replacement board. Picture following is the brake light on in a lighted garage. Note the reflection in the tractor seat. http://www.radiantz.com/cart/index1.html?c89.html&1Click taillight, click Honda, Now, it should be there. This is just the taillight. YES, it is visible.

I have the Hyper Lights on my 2001 and love them. They flash for 5 seconds and then come on solid whenever you apply your brakes. I put them on my wifes bike as well. Very easy to install.

My local service shop installs these under the trunk of Wings. If they were any brighter, they'd melt the plastic fender covers on following cars. YES they are very bright. The smaller kit is good enough.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. Raymond, I chose to go your route. I really liked the one you have on the license plate and the price was great. Video on site showed how bright it is. Just ordered it...$29.95 , free shipping till 12-14. Thanks!!! Henry
