It's a project bike that has fallen toward the back of the list. I'm thinking about parting it out, since it holds more value in parts than it would assembled and running.
But the super charger setup is the old ver 2 I believe. It has the older roots style blower on it, and it has been modified to run EFI, it has injector bungs on the manifold.

I guess it depends on the market for the blower setup on it.

But the parts market seems pretty good.

I'd like to start a different project, maybe a supercharged Vmax.

And I want to buy a stock low mileage IS...

Decisions, decisions...  Undecided Undecided

It is an older setup, and it is set up for EFI. I'm sure it could be converted back to a carb though.

Fooey... what's a supercharger worth - 1000 bucks? $2000?... the money question is: do you have
a rear fender rack  Wink ...

Hey Jeff K, when I saw your name on the Vmaxforum I was wondering if you were the same one from here. I guess the line about the supercharged Vmax confirms it. John here '97 Valk Tourer, '03 Vmax

Yep, That's me.

I haven't been very active there but that is going to change. I'm bored, I need a new project.

Well if you are bored a V-Max should wake you up.
I had one in the late 80s and that was the last bike that
down right scared me.

I've had a Vmax for a few years. It's a fun bike to ride. My granddaughter prefers to ride on the max, it has less real estate  for her bony ass to slide around on.

What fender rack thread?

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,23328.msg205912

People were laughing/commenting on a fender rack (not yours) that had a "high" starting price on it.
At first I thought they were talking about yours, then I saw there were two on eBay at the time...
Anywho... you can see the thread... Someone posted a link that some vendor still has up where the
new ones were going for $39 dollars... I bet they don't have any, at that price or any price...
