Sorry if this has been covered before but I could not find it searching the archives. Will a Clearview shield fit into an old-style Hoppes fairing, or do I have to stay with an oem screen?

Works great...

I guess it would work great with any shield that fits onto the OEM brackets, like the Hoppe does...

Hoppe use the same mounting hardware as the Hondaline Valkyrie Tourer came with ....You slide the windshield down through the fairing and use the same mounting brackets....Any direct replacement for the Hondaline Tourer windshield would work.

I know the Clearview uses the same mounting hardware, but wasn't sure if the width would have to be cut to fit. Glad to hear it drops in!

Not really a " drop " more like a forced slide....Cover the windshield with a bed sheet to keep from scratchin'  cooldude  Be sure to post some pictures when installed ....You don't see many Hoppe fairing on Valkyrie's.

Like the others have said, it works just fine, if you get the Clearview in the original 'width'.  To make yer life a bit easier, pick up replacement bolts, about 1/4" longer, for where the top of the fairing mounts to the windshield.  I had a dog of a time making the originals work...
