Awesome pictures.  I rented a Cessna 172 with a friend back in 1969 when we were on a 3 day layover in San Fransisco on our way to Nam.  We flew over Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge among other places.

I have an older brother that was an airplane freek, so i became one also!!  i love flying!!  anytime you can look down at the earth!!  awsome!! nice pictures, thanks for posting!!!

btw......I couldn't help but notice in one of the pics.....why in the heck do they have a pick-up truck on Alcatraz Island?  It ain't like they're gonna go very far in it.
