Elusive bolts, Why do I always need something that doesn't exist?

I'm working on a project and due to some clearance issues I need a flat head socket screw.

Here's the kicker

M10-1.25 X 20mm

SS of course. I'll be cursed if I can find a source for one.

Try again  Roll Eyes

He's looking for flat head socket

There are none in m10-1.25 pitch that I could find.

Jeff, does it have to be a flat head? Would a taper or button fit? There are lots of taper and button.  I looked at about 40 sites and found only one flat head and it was in quantity 200.

Yeah, it has to be a flat.
I guess I have to come up with a new plan....

Jeff, how about some TI bolts at 6.13 a piece? Link to all bolts
http://www.probolt-usa.com/search.php?searchterm=Countersunk+Bolt+M10+x+1.25mm+
Individual 20mm bolt
http://www.probolt-usa.com/Products/titanium_bolts_countersunk_washers/TICS1020F

Found some in Great Britain 13.28 a pair before shipping
http://www.boltmeup.com/m10-x-20-stainless-125mm-fine-pitch-countersunk-bolts-8011-p.asp

Hope this helps- your search will broaden if you use countersunk bolt.

I didn't even think of going the titanium, great idea, thanks.

I'm doing a break upgrade on my Vmax and the adapter I made will require a countersunk bolt.
I'm putting hayabusa front calipers on it so the mount needs an adapter.

I didn't think it would be a challenge to find a bolt. I have a bunch of 10-1.25 bolts in every style except countersunk.

Your welcome Jeff.  Soon as you get into the fine metric thread it becomes a pain to find and goes up in price.

Good luck and ride safe.

Wow. that is weird. I searched "M10-1.25 countersunk" and this thread shows up on the second Google page?

If you can go with a larger bolt,,,,

Drill and tap is always available as are chrome flat socket head cap screws in SAE sizes.

I have a clearance issue already, I really didn't want to go to bigger bolts.
