Elusive bolts, Why do I always need something that doesn't exist? I'm working on a project and due to some clearance issues I need a flat head socket screw. Here's the kicker M10-1.25 X 20mm SS of course. I'll be cursed if I can find a source for one.

Unless I'm missing something... I still don't see it... Try again He's looking for flat head socket There are none in m10-1.25 pitch that I could find. Jeff, does it have to be a flat head? Would a taper or button fit? There are lots of taper and button. I looked at about 40 sites and found only one flat head and it was in quantity 200.

I guess I have to come up with a new plan....

I didn't even think of going the titanium, great idea, thanks. I'm doing a break upgrade on my Vmax and the adapter I made will require a countersunk bolt. I'm putting hayabusa front calipers on it so the mount needs an adapter. I didn't think it would be a challenge to find a bolt. I have a bunch of 10-1.25 bolts in every style except countersunk.

Your welcome Jeff. Soon as you get into the fine metric thread it becomes a pain to find and goes up in price.
Good luck and ride safe.

Wow. that is weird. I searched "M10-1.25 countersunk" and this thread shows up on the second Google page?

If you can go with a larger bolt,,,,
Drill and tap is always available as are chrome flat socket head cap screws in SAE sizes.

I have a clearance issue already, I really didn't want to go to bigger bolts.
