Does anyone know if Honda Directline is having a Christmas/New Years sale? What is the coupon code if you know it? Thanks.....

I know they just had a 10 or 20% off sale earlier this month.  Not sure about now though.

As tested recently, your DFW club sponsor, Al Lamb's Dallas Honda, will get you out the door, including tax at prices like those you are getting on the internet. One big advantage - you get your parts in three days - if they are not in stock.

Colby, the parts manager welcomes calls from throughout the country! Be sure to ask for Colby, and you need to mention you are a Valk club member. Yes, these discounts will apply to your not so phat bikes too. If you are doing your biz in person at the parts counter, please be chill in the presents of their retail customers. 972 238-7148

Just got the HDL email -

I've found these folks tend to be a little cheaper http://cyclepartswarehouse.com/ than HDL. From a recommendation from here, I took the Internet prices to the local Honda shop (Denton) and they were happy to match prices.

The coupon code is: WINTER for a 10% discount on most products.

Edit:  Please feel free to share a good deal with our VRCC friends, but refrain fom posting an entire advertisement for a vendor.

Thank you.

I checked out Cycle Parts Warehouse and the main issue I see with them is they are in Texas and charge tax, any savings over HDL were negated by tax.

I agree with Jeff, print out the order page from HDL or CWP and carry it into Al's.

I never agreed with the hush hush wink wink only Colby can know stuff you have to go through at Al Lamb's. If they are really a club sponser you should be able to walk up to the counter and say, " I'm a member of the DFW VRCC," and get your discount. If you are a member of Honda Chapter 99 in Rockwall that is all it takes at Rockwall Honda, and that's the way it should be.....just my opinion.... and we all know what everyone says about opinions........ crazy2

I've used Al's quite a few times so I can get the club discount and if Colby is busy I grab the nearest counter guy, tell 'em I'm in the Valkyrie club, show 'em my print out, and I get my discount.  Colby is usually busy and I'd don't feel like waiting around for him to make time to help me.

Merry Christmas Jim from the chilly, rainy Metroplex.

Yes, the other guys at the parts counter can do the deed for you too these days, and is probably a plus, saving Colby from spending his time on a sale that only benefits them by moving inventory thru their system. The main reason to touch base with Colby is to reinforce the club/dealer relationship, but I am sure those of you that are comfortable sharing your warm and fuzzy side will do that with everyone there. By the way, Coors Light goes even further than a man hug with those guys at the parts counter.

The club internet matching discount you get from Al's is a much deeper discount than a typical 10% club discount from a retailer that is marking their inventory up in order to make you feel like you are getting a deal. If the parts dept. offered this kinda of discount to everyone they would not be in biz the next time local volks needed the convenience of our warm and fuzzy local brick and mortar shop.

Those of you that are out of state get the advantage of not having to pay to support Texas infrastructure, though it might be a stretch passing along your good nature via e-mail or telephone. I sure miss your shining face(s)! :'(  Pot stirring, not so much. ~Jeff
