Thanks to all my fellow VRCC Brothers who offered advise regarding my noise problem. It was the speedometer cable, I removed it from the bike and the grease was harden and dry. I cleaned the inside and relubed and no more noise. Again thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone.

What kind of noise was it? At all speeds?

Your avatar shows an Interstate. They don't have speedo cables. This must have been another Valk I presume.

Ok since I'm not a motorcycle mechanic, the black insulated cable/wires leading from the speedometer in the dash to the little black box on the left side of the front wheel, which is commonly referred to as a speedometer cable. The black box in which the cable/wires are attached was not properly greased thus allowing a rubbing/squeaking noise which presented a problem in locating. So please excuse me if my reference to a cable was used incorrectly lol.
Zeus661 the noise started at about 15 to 20 MPH and it was a rubbing squeaking noise and didnt change in pitch or sound at different speeds. I did determine it was not motor related when I would shut the engine off and coast and the noise was still there. The black box located on the front wheel contains grease which had dried.

Bassin,

Just so you know, as mentionned above, the Inter State has wiring going to the speedo. The black box you are refering to is the speed sensor. It sends pulses to the speedo which translates them in a speed reading displayed on the speedo scale.
