Never tried the Maple syrup thing. But we always make Snow Cream. A can of Eagle Brand Condensed Milk in a big bowl... add snow until you get the consistency you want and ya got Snow Cream!

Made a big bowl today. cooldude

I grew up on an island in Michigan.  Froze my ass and played hockey on frozen lakes.  Only thing I did with snow was turn it yellow.

Off topic, but:  I got an invite to stay in a beach condo in St Croix USVI.  I think I'll go in Feb.

This was Christmas morning, just the second White Christmas of my life. It snowed about another inch over the course of the next few hours, giving us about 2" -2 1/2" of the white stuff.

Had 2-3 ins. in north Alabama and now at midnight the road out front is frozen. Had a great day just sitting in the house and enjoying the view.

Well, we here in Callahan FL (just outside of Jacksonville Fl) did get some snow flurrys on Sunday morning.  Shocked
I came in directly from work and eating breakfast at church  cooldude when others began coming in and was talking about snow Shocked , even my wife told me 1st thing when she got there also.
Didn't stick to anything.
Man oh man, it almost shut down the little town of Callahan!!! 2funny

You can get a cover at Wally World for 'bout $25.00.....That's a nice bike to let the element's of weather trash it.

Yeah, the snow actually caught us by surprise. The local "weather guessers" are never right. I think they work for the local grocery stores to help them sell bread, milk and toilet paper, since those are the first things to sell out if they mention the "s" word in their broadcast!! So......we ignored 'em when they called for snow Christmas Eve night. Local Wally World is out of covers till they get a new shipment. Will either be adding a single garage or carport with siding here in the not too distant future for the Valk and the 60" Kubota riding mower.

We only got about 4-5 inches. I was kinda disappointed. Worst part
about it is it's gonna be warm in a coupla days and all that salt and
gravel junk is all over the roads.....ALL the roads!! Angry

Well we live in eastern North Carolina about 120 miles east of Raleigh. We got 8"+, kinda nice for the kids being they are out of school, but not to good if you have to be out in it for work. This was about 9:00 am Sunday.
