Is there a business out there that is porting and polishing cylinder heads for the 1520?

If you do a search on the subject you'll find that you are wasting your time and money ....

Others have done it with unfavorable results ....

Porting heads, Intake & Exhaust....Not to be Confused with Polishing intake tubes witch could be the Waste of time noted above,, Check with your local speed shops in your area for head porting, could be upwards of 20+ HP when opening up the little ports, Make sure you have a large tube header after or it will be a wast of time, and of coarse re tune the carbs,

Sorry .... my mistake, I was thinking of the intake tubes. Must be getting late. Looks like you found your answer.

I ported the first bike.. Porting isn't hard, been doing them for years on other stuff.. If Mike [Vger] did yours, then they should be good to go. I think he's pretty fussy about testing them.. If the exhaust ports don't match the headers/manifolds then just go to work with a grinder and add a mild flare.. The flow restriction issue isn't as bad if you are going from a smaller head port to a larger exhaust port than if you're going the other way around..

Don't forget the $ 100 dollar= 1 hp rule Mase,  Wink we are working on a Valk now, little over $ 2.000.00 for porting, you can do it yourself,, but a little talent will be needed, Look around at some other Forums that are more geared for all out racing unlike this maintenance board, here is my 750 board most are racing currently on teams, "not on the street" http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=15258.0

Mase,,you got that right on the HP rule  Shocked,, that link i posted has some great Close ups on most of the threads..."you can't see until you Log in",, also has Carbide bit info down the thread. If you message the Exhaust port yourself you would open up some breathing, that port is small, port match the intake runner to the head, with a felt gasket as a pattern to transfer the footprint of the mating surface,
