Hey, I have the normal leather Saddleman saddlebags, but they leak water whern it rains.  Anyone know of some really good leather bags that don't leak?  I have a 2002 Standard Valk with an Ultimate rider seat and stock driver seat.  Millsie

Leather-like saddlebags that don't leak and look like leather are Leatherlykes.  They lock too.  And can often be found used.

Mustang are even nicer.

If the leakage is occurring from a poorly fitting cover then the cure is to make the cover fit better.

If the leakage is from the porous seams the cure would be to get seam sealer and treat the seams.

Paul . . . What type bags were these?
Buda . . . When will you be advertising your bags and for how much?  Do you have a pic of them on the bike?

If I were to start from scratch I would(1- make the late model Harley hard bags fit. They look good on the valk.(2- Bossbags as Mase said.(3- Those are the stock oem honda leather bags...you need the oem mounts to mount them with..Decisions,decisions.... Cheesy cooldude

The OEM leather bags look nice as long as they're not sagging. Mine always kept my goods dry, even in the heaviest, all-day rain. If you don't want to buy used, you can still get them new from HDL and other places.

I have always put a HD garbage bag into my bags, that guarantees that if all of a sudden, a lid seal fails, my gear stays dry.

Saw some Auburn Honda bags on Las vegas c.l. for 50.00 that could be brought back to life.
