Wishing everyone in the VRCC a safe and happy new riding year!  Remember to keep the rubber-side down, and the speedo pegged  Cool

It's been a few years since I've visited and posted to the VRCC website, but for those old-timer's out there who remember..... I'm still alive and kicking!  A little of what I've been up to over the last few years.  I sold my Valk about 4 years ago to Flames of the Seattle VRCC contingent, and bought a Vstrom (Armageddon) for a change to dual-sport touring.  Since then, I've put on 35,000 miles to pretty much every state west of the Rockies, plus Alaska.  Missing the awesome power of my Valk, I got my hands on a 2010 VMax (Battle Axe) this summer.

But enough about me.  How has the best club in motorcycling been?  I think of the club often, and all of the good rallies I attended.  Ciao!

Doug (Drifter)

Scott & Michael, it was good to hear from you both!  I'll keep my eye on the board and see if I can't drop in during a rally held out west.  I'm still living in the Portland area, and ride whenever possible.  The original Portland VRCC group (myself, Shannon, Mark, Kirk) have all sold our Valks and gone our separate ways, but I still own 3 bikes and the fever is strong   cooldude
