I installed a Centech AP-2 and AP-130R relay/wiring kit on my Tourer and wondered where is the easiest place to connect wire to ignition voltage to operate the "switched" section of the fuse block. The instructions recommend the tail light/rear turn signals, but none of that wiring appears to be exposed in a convenient place.

What do you recommend?

Thx

Use the AUX wires under the right side cover to trigger the relay. This is a 5 amp circuit that is only energized with the key on.

You'll be looking for two wires under one black plastic/rubber cover. The picture below gives you kind of an idea what the AUX wires look like, as far as the cover over them etc. In the picture the trigger wires have already been hooked up and "dressed".

One wire is "hot" and the other wire is ground.

Insure you wire correctly to avoid a short circuit.
