Whatever it is, it's better in the wind.

On a road less traveled.

I have served in many a combat theater and always knew the words to our anthem but in all honesty, I never knew waht they meant. Thought this was important to share with you.

These words are not all my own but, the sentiment I feel is the same as their author...so, take this and pass it along to everyone you know who appreciates what our country was truly founded upon.

In your lifetime, our incredible Country and our FREEDOMS will continue to come under attack...this video that will give you a new found appreciation and understanding of the sacrifices that were made to create our Nation. As you watch, think about how you and I can be ready to make sacrifices in the future to preserve our Nation....Your children and your children's children should see this too, since their Freedom is at stake.

You will never listen to the Star Spangled Banner the same again.

Ice, that was AWESOME.  Being a veteran and an American,  I have aways wondered about the wording of the Anthem.  After seeing that, I am proud to have served my country and the sacrifices that were made. cooldude cooldude  Be safe and God Bless

I remember being taught exactly this in school. I'm afraid our kids may no longer be taught this part of history but I hope I'm wrong.
Thanks for posting it even if it did cause me some eye problems. cooldude

I pray we never drop the ball our forefathers handed us. For if we do, I fear all of humanity will follow us into the abyss.

Thanks for posting, that was awesome. While we may not have dropped the ball, it is being held very loosely.

I've made several Govt. buisness trips too and never forgot what it was all about. The fact they arent teaching Americanism is a travesty. We have "hispanic studies" here. They wont disclose the cirruculum to the administrators. We have former Marines being denied the ability to fly their flagsfrom the balcony of their apartment.  Illegal aliens taking over parts of the South West.

Can you provide more detail on this one?  I'm curious.
