Great day in the land of OZ!

So here it is the 30th of December and 60's outside!  The Phat girls were both whining as I walked through the garage,  so being the considerate person I am I did what I had to do.  Yes, I rode them both,  I didn't want one being mad at the other seen that before it's ugly.  Got about a hundred miles in which wasn't much,  but I did have other pressing obligations. It felt great getting out in warm weather  last time I rode a couple of weeks ago it was thirtish  and I felt like a polar bear all bundled up.  ??? Can't wait for spring and summer to get here.  Hope everyone has a great and safe  New Year!

My son is in Wichita, he said it was 67 there.  It was 37 here in MI, first time it has been above 30 in over 2 weeks.

That is about to change, JDW.  We are sending you some very frosty weather.  It was in the 20s for the high here and continued to drop throughout the day.  It is 7 now and Friday supposed to have a high of 9 and low of -6. 

Glad that you beat the weather to take a nice ride.

I got a quick ride in this afternoon. I would have loved to have had more time to ride. I rode to Lake Perry to see what it looks like at this time of year. The lake is pretty low and desolate.



It will be only a few months until things start greening up again.




I am with you brother, I cannot wait til Spring.

Bark2 that is not an Interstate, what gives? You letting Joe practice some more before I take mine up there? Interesting that you went to Perry, I went to Marion and drove around. Noticed a big temp change going across the dam with the wind blowing off the water.

As much as I want to keep both, the Tourer will eventually be sold.  
So I am getting as much riding on her as I can.

I added the solo cruiser bar and was hoping to explain that with two bikes we have one for me to ride solo and the I/S for our 2 up riding. It was not received as I had hoped.  ???

Our wives have not met, yet they are singing the same tune.   I like my Interstate, but I really perfer the Standard for just me. A real problem I have created for myself. By the way I used the same argument, same results.
