Anyone have any clue or resource for these, I sure would like to have a set of them. coolsmiley

I have found a couple places that have them listed but with no price and then when you try to order them it comes back discontinued or out of stock. tickedoff

I am sure they will be much more expensive than the original retail price but I might still be interested anyway if its not to far over budget. Wink

Thanks
Matt

I saw a new unopened set go on flea-bay for $400.00 not long ago Shocked  If you want them they will cost you.I've got'em on all of my bikes.I gave one set of mine to Matt owner of Carolina Bike & Trike who make's some very nice copy " knock-off's " of engine hangers ,baker air wing covers etc   http://www.carolinabikeandtrike.com/   . These are stamped out and Matt could never get the bend and angles in them to work out for proper fit...If you've ever bought anything from him then you know the fit and finish on his parts always fit perfect.Beware buying them used these are a bitch to get off without damage.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Them kinda dollars are definitely out of my budget.

Just so you know, you SIR have made me very jeleous of you. I can surely see how trying to take them off would destroy them. I would figure the only possible way to remove them and not bend them would be if the saddle bag was destroyed carefully starting at the rear and them using chemicals to make the glue release.

Thanks again and you did not make my day today. cooldude

In my experience saddlebags ARE scuff plates.

(yeah, sorry, I know that's not helpful)

Sorry I meant the glue that is on the double back tape, I guess I need to be more clear when I speak around here.

I always though it was ironic that the stuff we put on our expensive saddle bags to protect them is now more expensive than the saddlebags.  Maybe its time for saddlebag protector protectors.
