What do you suggest for a good digital video recorder to mount to my Valk?  What should I be looking for?  Mounts, memory, specs? etc. Thanks for your help.

Since I only have experience with one camera, I can't be relied upon to know the best
camera, but I have this one:

I've mounted it a bunch of different ways, including pointed backwards. It can take a
picture every 5 seconds for two hours, or it can take 45 minutes worth of video with audio.
Stores jpgs and avis on a 2 gig (max) sd card.

There's a newer model now, so it probably has better specs...

I took this video yesterday, don't judge the camera's picture quality by youtube's
compressed flashified version:

My camera is three megapixels, the newer one is five.

You can find the cameras a lot of places, on Amazon search for "gopro camera"...

Should it be a wide angle or normal?

Testing my new Samsung Sportscam

My new camcorder is a Samsung Sportscam VP-X300L

I have a RAM mount for the camcorder and I use strips or tape to fasten the external lens. Its small and can be mounted anywhere.
There is a switch non the external lens cable so I can switch between the camcorder and the external lens. I have to push the record button each time I change lens.

I think the quality is good, and I like the size.

Wired external Lens with audio
Weather-proof Material Design
SD Card & MMC Memory Card Slot(Support to 4GB SDHC Card)
MPEG 4 ASP Video Clip Recording
10 x Optical/100 x Digital Zoom
EIS (Electronics Image Stabilizer) Function

Hey Dag, your movie rocks! The picture quality is very good... I notice that
Youtube recommends that you upload H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4, is that what you do?

I've been uploading WMV. My source material has good quality, similar to yours, but
you can see what happens after I upload...
