If you are contiplating this mod be sure your patience level is high  tickedoff or have extra beer on hand  2funny.  It's not really that hard but it is a pain getting the boots apart and back together again.  I know they say use plenty of alcohol but i thought it ment for lubing the wires.  I broke out the Crown Royal tonight and it was for me not the wires.  Its done and was worth the effort.  When my wife seen it she said "now the dragon has viens"  I have had a lot of comments on the cup holder and my reply is "all luxury vehicles have to have a cup holder" .  These cup holders really work well, easy to get to and put back while riding  Just don't try to drink out of them with a fullface helmet on  Undecided .  Anyway can't wait for the Blue/Gray ride and Inzane!!!

I love the look, get ya some plug covers to complete the transformation, and cover up those black boots.

You're right, the alky is for lubing the wires so they slip in/out of the boots. As for taking the boots apart and removing the innards, it just takes patience as you stated. When I tried the first one I wondered what the heck have I got myself into this time. The second one was a bit easier, and by the third wire I had it down to a few seconds to take them apart. Maybe I should have suggested some Crown as part of the necessary "tools" when attempting this.  Wink

The trike looks great, you did a great job and the little lady did great with the paint as well. The wires just set it off with an extra touch.

I stuck a set of neon green plug wires on my wife's Kawasaki GPZ when we were putting it together. Matched the Gypsy GPZ paint job she gave it.
