My entire bookmark file on everything motorcycle-related has been wiped out - don't know how or why - it just wasn't there when I cranked up the Mac this morning. Nothing else has been lost - only those bookmarks (which were in one subdivided folder).

I am especially looking for links for motorcycle ride itineraries/maps, specifically, one for Alabama and Tennessee. If y'all could post links to anything you have on ride sites, various vendors (clothing, parts, Valkyrie forums or other info sites, riding gear, etc.), I surely would appreciate it.

Thanks, y'all!

Have you done a recent backup so you could restore them?

Doc, that's kinda what I'm looking for, but the site I want has suggested routes, along with maps of the route and interesting things to do along the way and is geared solely towards motorcycles.

Here are a couple; they're nationwide, but the routes are listed by state:

Bummer having to reconstruct your bookmarks.  Happened to me about 5 years ago  Roll Eyes

Here's another, this one high-tech.  You can download the routes to your GPS, also it has a 3-D "fly through" feature through Google Earth, that gives you a basic look at the roads, terrain, etc.:

Send me an email and I can email you a folder of bike links. I think.

EDIT.

I can't darn it. Tried to email it to myself. No luck.

OK It's a snow day here and I'm not going anywhere.

Most modern Browsers backup the Bookmarks file automatically, look thru the menus item for a restore bookmarks/favorites restore.

Also check your history file it will list the most recently visited.
