Every year for Christmas my wife buys me some unusual tool….this year it was a Bandit Buddy Smiley….which is a magnetic wrap that goes on your arm between the shoulder and elbow…..so when you’re working on something, removing screws or bolts, etc…you can just attach them to the magnet cooldude….it will also hold extra tools that you may be using….I used it the other day and it works great, a real time saver and I’m not looking around to see where I put that nut or screw or tool….
She said she found it at a Big Lots store, there was a large display of them so she picked one up, later she decided to get a few more for gifts and when she went back they were all gone…..anyway they are handy and just make things easier for us that forget where we put parts and tools when working in tight quarters….

Some people sell "magnetic wraps" for medicinal purposes of some kind (so they say and I don't know if it works or not)...   I would imagine that quite a few of those were purchased  by some older folks that believe in those for removing aches and pains.  I could see them being used for other than their intended purpose.

Not a big fan of magnetizing tools. They collect metal shavings

Now that's cool.

I have an odd visual of someone walking into your work area and seeing you with one or more on each arm holding tools, bolts, and stuff.   Wink

It appears to be a very practical gift.

Hmmm, the more I think about it... I wonder if those aren't the "medicinal magnetic wraps" that have been recycled for this purpose.....    Wink

That's funny Grin If I was to get stuck to something I hope it is a fridge and not a passing Chevy... Smiley
