I think I would vote for me. Hey why not. I am articulate. I am not far left, or far right. Not a party liner. That is Not Republican/Democrat/green/other. I have always went for who I thought could best handle the job. I am a veteran. I do not know a lot about politics in general. That experience has not stopped others. I will not promise to fix anything. Hey we do not know what all is broke. We are not privy to presidential policy until elected and briefed. Many policies are cast in stone. Pacts with foreign governments and such we know nothing of, let alone plan to change. So big campain policy promises are rarely kept. I am pro U.S. My platform would be to get me elected for one term. Then I could retire on the pittance the government would give me. I would be exempt from the new health plan. Life would be good. Hey all I need is some good advisers to feed me info via a teleprompter. A good speech writer would be a help. Yep, I could do it. No fancy promises. At least my track record would be perfect. Met all the criteria of my campaign. Who knows I will even let you sneek a peek at my birth certificate...Yep I got one. .....Well there ya have it. A VOTE FOR LARRYD IS A VOTE FOR HONESTY.   Well it worked for Abe, I guess times have changed.

I could almost go with Larryd
except -- he has no baggage, no skeletons in the closet, no ties to PACs or any special interest groups, no favors to repay to any industries and he has a birth certificate.
Sorry, Larry-you just don't have the credentials.

I'd vote you post crap like this on a political BBS.

You really don't post anything here but BS do you? It would be one thing if you occasionally posted BS but this is all you got isn't it?

Do you ride?

not sure who you are directing your snide remark to.
I suspect most all posters here do ride.
I suggest you switch to decaf-regular is making you grumpier than all get out.

Well captain, I do not know who you were directing the remark to. However let me clarify a few things, If it was to me the remark I posted was an attempt at some political humor. If read, it is evident as such. As to do I ride....let's  see . My first ride was a 39 indian at age 13. rode every year since. I am now 63 and proudly ride a valk. There have been many different rides in the time between. So yes I do ride. Covered most of the states. This is a valk site. However, lately politics have been the big talk. This is not the proper forum to address such issues. So a little humor was sent to lighten things up a bit. As to overpost and all the b.s you elate to. Well that would not pertain to me since I have only made a few posts since I became a member. Now if you still precieve this a problem....Either take some valum. or get decaf. Or take it up with Willow. In any case don't get nasty. Everyone that I have had the pleasure to meet in person has been great. A tribute to the cause.  I truly hope I have mis-read the intent of your remarks.

sorry guys, my post was to the first poster. I'm just totally bummed that this board is, was, did, go to hell and back with all these political bs posts.

Yeah I know don't read them but sometimes I do just to see if ca coatings is posting anything worth reading. Nope he's not, probably never will.

These type of post just don't do this board one damn bit of good anymore. Causes nothing but grief between members. I wish STAFF would just delete them as soon as they are posted. Who would miss them? Not me. DELETE THEM, yes I even said it in caps. Who gives a crap about these useless posts.

there was a day when people came here and spoke of riding and meeting up and a little partying and life in general. Not this sh i t that does nothing but stink up this whole board.

Yeah I also know, my post stinks too but it seems to go fine in this particular pile of crap thread.

Go ahead tell me to be quite. I won't just because this board needs to get rid of the politics.

C.A coatings hows about posting some about motorcycles or something worthwhile once it a while. Take the sh it elsewhere, it stinks.

Raymond, I could not agree more with your clarification. That was the logic behind my original post. To lighten/make fun of the original post. We belong/read these things because of a common bond. That being our love of the motorcycle and the RIDE. I agree, if it gets to political it should be removed. It has no place here. It seems there are those who with mal-intent would disrupt the flow of things here.  If it were a politically motivated group we would: 1. set up rides according to political affiliation.IE: Republican riders, democratic riders, left wingers, right wingers, ultra conservative, ect. Each group riding independently off to Inzane. Upon arrival check into out politically correct rooms as designated. Then off to dinner to discuss politics. Wow, what fun. I know that is taking it to the extreme.  i am just making the point. You are 100% correct. This is a riders forum not a political forum. Please take the off topic stuff to another board. There are a lot of them on the internet. I am sure the bantering will be welcomed there.  As for me I am patiently ( ok not so patiently) awaiting spring. Looking foward to the ride. The fat lady can only stand just so much wax and rubbing. If I polish any more the poor thing will need a re-paint. God bless, ride safe, enjoy. We own the best motorcycle ever produced......Long live the Dragon.

I'd vote for Herman Cain, conservative, strong on defense, likes fair tax, wants to wean us off of social security, wants to take on terrorists.  and he's an african-american
