I want to thank Dave and Nora for hosting, and for the fellowship of all the DFW VRCC members that showed up and helped one another to get the work done on our valks that needed to be done. The weather was perfect and and the food was delicious and plentiful. Thanks to everyone that helped me with my Interstate.       cooldude

Dave and Nora, I had a blast.  Thank you very much for the food, drinks, and most of all the hospiltality.  cooldude  Paul, thanks for bleeding my brakes front and rear, and the clutch, and the test ride to check out Wall-E for me. cooldude  TJ thanks for guiding me through the carb sync.  Carmen, beautiful valk.  All the bikes were gorgeous.  Mark, thanks for everything and test riding Wall-E and helping me with everything.  Amen on the day Sidecar.  God blessed and provided us with great companionship, great food and the mechanical experience that even Honda USA  would be jealous of. Grin
ThagAndy, Disco, Randy, Tom, it was great to finally meet ya.  I have never been with a greater bunch of people, ever.  I know I am forgetting someone(I told ya'll I had alzheimers).  I have been with a groups in the past that we rode together and had fun, but as far as I'm concerned The DFW VRCC is the BEST.  Never have I seen anyone step up and help someone who you have only talked to over the computer.  I was a complete stranger (I know, strange doesn't describe me crazy2) and you all made me feel welcome.. Thank you all for making me feel at home and for all the help on Wall-E.    Paul, the ride back was great.  It felt great to ride with someone who understands the things we all go through with the other half. ;DMomma has officially grounded me till the 50 lbs comes off.  Angry  Oh well, it was worth it.  Every damn bit of it. Again Thanks for everything Smiley  Oh yeah, I will be back for another party and maybe even bring Lisa.  If she doesn't kill me first 2funny. Be safe God bless and have a great time.

Wow, What a great day for wrench party in Texas  !!!  Good food, friends, and Temps in the 70s.

16 valkyries went under the knife (to varying degrees); we did leave Gary's recent addition (a fine BMW) unscathed.

I trust everyone had a good time.  Here's a couple quick photos.

Judging from the pics, the good weather really helped drag out all the riff raff. Looks like I missed a great time.

Talk about Wrench to Eat / Eat to Wrench.  Wow!  Not only was there breakfast and lunch, there were appetizers between the two.  Thank you Nora & Dave!   cooldude

What a day!  Rainmaker more than made up for last week's showers.  It was a beautiful day to be doing anything outside.  Combining riding and hanging out with old and new friends, having fun, swapping stories, working on Valkyries, eating great food, and washing it down with Dublin Dr Peppers is just about at the top of my list.  We had a great turnout and got lots of stuff done.  Looks like Yoda Master even got in some dancing.  Thanks to all who helped track down and address my CB issue(s).

Back to the subject of Rainmaker - we've all seen one Valkyrie bring two (or more) people to an event, but how many times have you seen one person ride two Valkyries to an event???   Wink

Can't wait 'til the next trip to le chateau de chauffeur.   coolsmiley

I think I just reached my 50 lb loss limit.  The better half just chewed about that much off me. 2funny
If I show up next weekend at Dave and Nora's, I will be talking in a voice thats about 10 octaves higher.  Shocked   I may have to take a rain check.  I do value the "jewels". Roll Eyes.  decisions, decisions.

We only do wrench parties once a month at the most, so you should have time to grow a new butt before the next one.

OK I can't help myself. I have to chime in. I gained 5 lbs just reading the post. I see I missed a great party and from looking at Dave and Noras place you didn't even need plates. You could eat right of the floor. LOL

Rainmaker,  I have been known to heal a bit quicker than most. Grin   Maybe the "scars" will heal by then 2funny.  have fun at GM.  I've got a long run Dallas to Enid, OK, then to Barnsdall, OK to pick up another load then down to Pasadena, TX.  I'll hit the air horn as I slide past the DFW area Grin.  Have fun.  cooldude
