Just received an Olympus 8010 camera as a gift. I'd been looking for a rugged waterproof camera for shots and movies. http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/olympus-stylus-tough-8010/4505-6501_7-34020092.html. I tried it out driving along but the vibration from holding it with my hand doesn't cut it. I thought a solid mount to the vehicle would be better. Any ideas ? Smiley

I use a Ram Mount on the handlebars.  You can get different length arms and camera mounts.  I use mine mostly for my mini-dvd camcorder but have used it on my digital camera also.  Check out www.ram-mounts.com for options.

Latley I've been using a flip video Ram mounted on my bars and a Panasonic Lumix 12 mp on a lanyard around my neck. I don't use my go pro much anymore but it has mounts for all over the bike. Right now it's mounted on one of my helmets.

I use a Flip video also. I bought a small tripod at a local dept. store and made a bracket that attached to the inside of the windshield.

I have the older 3 megapixel gopro... This is a worst case example, but I get a lot of wiggly trees and wavy telephone poles...
You never get stuff like this? You have to really root around on the gopro website to find a camera without a "wide" (fisheye)
lens, but they do have a 5 megapixel one... I'd like to loose the jello cam, but don't want a fisheye lens...

Can't remember the mp on my go pro but I never get "jello cam" with it tho it is a fish-eye. My flip, which has great resolution, is the one for me that shakes and shimmers. It's like the processor just isn't up for us nasty biker types bouncin around on the highways and byways! Cool
